Section 12 sets out additional rights and information for individuals located in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area ("EEA"), to whom the UK General Data Protection Regulation ("UK GDPR") and EU General Data Protection Regulation ("EU GDPR") apply.

We require parties who process personal data on our behalf to do so under contract and to a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA.
7. International transfers
We operate from Singapore and also work in the United Kingdom, and we use service providers located in various countries. As a result, your personal data may be transferred to, and processed in, jurisdictions outside your own.
Where we transfer personal data out of Singapore, we take steps required under the PDPA to ensure the recipient is bound to provide a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA. Where we transfer personal data out of the UK or EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as the applicable Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. You may contact us for further information on the safeguards in place.
8. Data security
We maintain reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure or alteration. Where you hold credentials to access any of our systems, you are responsible for keeping those credentials confidential.
We have procedures in place to deal with suspected personal data breaches and will notify you and the relevant regulator where we are legally required to do so.
9. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including to satisfy legal, accounting, contractual or reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period, we consider the volume, nature and sensitivity of the data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the purposes of processing, and applicable legal requirements.
When personal data is no longer required, we will delete, anonymise or cease to retain it in accordance with the PDPA and other applicable law.
10. Your rights
Under the PDPA, you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you and information about how it has been used or disclosed; and
- request correction of personal data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
You may also withdraw consent to our processing of your personal data at any time, on reasonable notice, by contacting us. Withdrawing consent may mean we are unable to continue providing certain services to you.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@livrai.io. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we may charge a reasonable fee for an access request as permitted under the PDPA. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.
If you are located in the UK or EEA, additional rights apply — see Section 12.
11. Third party links
The Site may contain links to third party websites and services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties, and this policy does not apply to them. Please review their privacy notices before providing them with your personal data.
12. Additional information for UK and EEA individuals (UK GDPR / EU GDPR)
Where you are located in the United Kingdom or the EEA, the UK GDPR and/or EU GDPR apply to our processing of your personal data, and the following additional terms apply.
Legal bases. We rely on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Consent, for example where you opt in to marketing;
- Performance of a contract with you, or to take steps at your request before entering a contract;
- Legitimate interests, namely operating, promoting, securing and improving our business, provided these are not overridden by your interests and fundamental rights; and
- Compliance with a legal obligation.
Your rights. Subject to conditions, you have the right to: request access to your personal data; request correction; request erasure; object to processing (including for direct marketing); request restriction of processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You will not have to pay a fee to exercise these rights in most cases.
International transfers. Where we transfer personal data out of the UK or EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards as described in Section 7.
Complaints. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. In the EEA, this is your local data protection authority. We would, however, appreciate the chance to address your concerns before you approach the regulator, so please contact us first.
Representative. We are not required to appoint a representative under Article 27 of the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR.
13. Changes to this policy
We keep this policy under regular review and may update it from time to time. The version in force is the one published on the Site, and the "last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
